The Aurora 950 Search and Rescue (SAR) is a fearless superhero that combines exceptional safety features, emergency response capabilities, and the get-up-and-go to navigate difficult terrain. It’s equipped with life-saving features, including a stretcher and reinforced structural components for ease of transportation.

With the VX 950 V-Twin engine and 25" tires, the Aurora SAR models can traverse diverse landscapes in remote areas. Whether it’s a medical emergency, a natural disaster or a broken leg on the slopes, the Aurora SAR provides safety and peace of mind.

• ENGINE

Our highest horsepower engine ever released in an XTV chassis, the VX 950, fan-cooled, 4-stroke EFI big block V-Twin engine is an absolute brute when conquering every terrain imaginable. Capable and proven for both recreation and commercial applications, the VX 950 delivers consistent and reliable performance in all temperatures and climates.

• DRIVETRAIN

The ARGO Instant Torque Drive System (ITDS) delivers outstanding performance by coupling the trusted ARGO Instant Torque Clutch (ITC) with the bulletproof Admiral transmission to deliver increased acceleration and enhanced torque.

• ARGO PROGRESSIVE STEERING (APS)

Operated in conjunction with the Admiral transmission, APS adds a spring element between the handlebars and the brake system to deliver a progressive, dual-rate steering system which results in an easier, smoother turning motion that instills driver confidence while offering improved steering.

• BEADLOCK WHEELS WITH WATER TIRES

ARGO XT117 25" tires have a proprietary tread pattern for better propulsion through water to help the XTV swim with confidence. The innovative ARGO beadlock rims allow for 1.5-psi tire pressure, providing a 30% smoother and more comfortable ride.

• TRANSMISSION

The ARGO Admiral transmission uses a sophisticated gearing system and triple differentials located on the output shafts. The braking force is applied to a steering differential vs. to the output shafts, translating into smoother and gentler steering.

• REDUCED UNDERHOOD TEMPERATURE

To ensure comfort for the operator and passengers, heat-reflective and absorptive material is integrated into the firewall. A composite exhaust shroud goes one step further and effectively redirects heat while producing a subtle note from the exhaust.

• SPLIT SEATS

The Aurora SAR delivers hope in the face of life and death situations to save lives in challenging and remote locations. These brave warriors are equipped with split seats to provide flexible passenger seating arrangements for any rescue mission. Be safe out there.

• STRETCHER MOUNT

The Aurora SAR is designed for reliable off-road search and rescue. Equipped for emergencies, a EMS stretcher mount is installed onto the Aurora Responder to allow crew members to rear-load stretchers. Head out brave and come home safe.

• ENCLOSED AMPHIBIOUS BODY

ARGO is the leader in amphibious offroad travel. The one-piece, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) lower body is our signature design feature. Its smooth, durable underbody floats over water, stumps and swamps delivering unparalleled stability and safe navigation.

• HEAVY-DUTY WINCH AND BRUSHGUARD

Pulling power for when you need it most. The 3,500-lb heady-duty winch with synthetic rope mounts on the front of your ARGO brushguard to assist with high-angle extractions of equipment or debris.
